March 26, 2019: West Lafayette High School students make their annual visit to "Chicago as Paris on the Prairie," with a luncheon show of Souvenirs of Paris 1950 at La Marchesa.

March 28-29, 2019: Pine-Richland High School near Pittsburgh brings Claudia and Elizabeth for an evening community concert and a day-time set of school programs.

April 30 and May 2, 2019: Westinghouse College Prep in Chicago brings Claudia back for a two-day residency with students of French, European History, Drama, and Choir, including two performances of "Souvenirs of Paris 1950"

March 2019: Libertyville and Vernon Hills High Schools French III students get together for our annual performance of "Souvenirs of Paris, 1950"

March 2017: AATF Chicago/Northern Illinois chapter presents "Souvenirs of Paris, 1950" for French Immersion Day at Dominican University

December 2016: L'Ecole Professionnelle de la Comédie Musicale in PARIS, Claudia teaches a four-day song interpretation intensive for 17 students of musical comedy.

October 24, 2016: a day in residency at Marygrove College in Detroit.
The public is invited to audit the second of our two master classes for high school and undergraduate singers or to sing at the evening session. Organized by Tara Sievers, Assistant Professor, Director of Vocal Activities.

October 7, 2016: West Lafayette High School students return to "Paris on the Prairie" for luncheon show, this time at Cyrano's Riverwalk café, under the tent with Elizabeth Doyle at the keyboard! A little rain can't stop us. Look for the arc-en-ciel.

September 8-10, 2016: residency at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio: Claudia joins the College reunion 2016 celebration of "Performance and Theatre" with a master class for Voice and Speech students, a Vocal Canvas concert shared with Elizabeth Doyle, pianist Mary Fahrenbruck, two new commissioned songs inspired by the Herndon Gallery exhibition of "Image: Public Face", the photographs of Kaleigh Harris and James Luckett and the poetry of New Hampshire poet laureate Alice B. Fogel. Followed by providing music for the reunion dinner with bassist Peter Hobart Nethercot and jazz vocalist Cindy Davis joining us on stage.

April 15, 2015: Cercle Français de Youngstown sponsors Souvenirs of Paris, 1950, at Austintown and Poland Seminary high schools.


November 5, 2014: DeKalb High School presents Souvenirs of Paris, 1950, as the finale of National French Week.

November 11, 2014: Andrew High School in Tinley Park hosts Souvenirs of Paris, 1950. Master class and jam session with the school band/orchestra.

Residency at Auburn University, Alabama with Claudia Hommel and singer-pianist Elizabeth Doyle

Wednesday May 14, 2014. Bonjour, Paris! The annual field trip for 8th grade students from Winnetka's Washburne Middle School. This year Claudia sings for them accompanied by accordionist Patricia Spaeth at Cyrano's cabaret room in Chicago.

Thursday, May 8, 2014: DePaul University, School of New Learning's interdisciplinary course on "Exploring France in Chicago" brings Claudia to explore French impressionism through the prism of 19th century French song and the Jazz Fauré Project.

Friday and Monday, April 24 and 27, 2009. Jacksonville, Illinois. Performances, workshops and masterclasses at middle school, high school and School for the Visually Impaired, plus master class at the local college.

Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2, 2009 Claudia escorts Greenville, Michigan, high school students around Chicago's Paris on the Prairie, concluding with a public performance at Cyrano's on Friday evening.

Friday, November 20, 2009: Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills, MIchigan holds an assembly concert of "Souvenirs of Paris, 1950" for the bevy of young women from 7th to 12th grades.
