The most widely-performed of Claudia's cabaret programs for schools and her only character-driven theatre-piece, Souvenirs of Paris, 1950 introduces Marcelle, a Parisian café owner who recounts through song the events of her tumultuous life in France before,
during and after World War II. Includes songs made famous by Josephine Baker, Edith Piaf,
Juliette Gréco and Yves Montand and songs celebrating the Paree of American
composers Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and Vernon Duke.
